The village of Loubes Bernac is set in the Aquitaine region of France on the southern border of the Dordogne and the northern border of the Lot-et-Garonne.
Loubes Bernac is a quiet, small village with a population of just under 400 people. Surrounded by vineyards and just 25 minutes from Bergerac (airport), the village provides the ideal location for exploring the Lot-et-Garonne and Dordogne regions.
Set on a hilltop at the highest point in the Lot-et-Garonne, the village has plenty to offer, with a shop for all the essentials (including daily fresh bread and pastries), a restaurant, a post office, a doctor's surgery and a hairdresser.
In the summer, the village fete on the first weekend of August is well worth joining-in with if you're visiting at the time.
